Electric Vehicle

Starting with wireless charging, widening to the whole charging infrastructure

It began with a single receive pad and grew into vehicle-mounted parts, transmitters, and a combined wired-and-wireless charging platform. Every technology in the company came out of this segment.

Supplying

Our first public R&D project was a wireless receive pad with the rectifier built in. Moving the rectifier stage inside the pad removed a separate unit and cut weight and volume with it. The receive module built there became the starting point for every project that followed.

The vehicle came next. We fitted wireless charging to a micro EV and completed road demonstration in the Gyeongbuk regulatory free zone, then began developing the mechanical, electrical and communication interface parts needed to mount the receive module on a production vehicle. Ingress protection and weight are the open problems.

Then we went to the ground side. While developing a SAE J2954 fast-class transmitter, we are securing operational compatibility so that the slow-charging receivers already on the road charge from the same pad. A project to commercialise an all-in-one platform carrying both wired fast charging and wireless charging is also under way.
