SEGMENTS

One technology, five markets

The conversion technology built for EV wireless charging branched in four directions. Robotics is the same technology made smaller, the data centre is the same technology pushed to higher density, and renewable energy is the same technology scaled up. Monitoring is the layer that attaches to all of them.

HISTORY

2021 to today

We began with wired chargers, moved to wireless receivers, then transmitters and vehicle integration, and since 2025 into AI server power and robot charging.

2021

Founded

Incorporated in November, starting out developing wired fast and slow chargers and on-board vehicle components (OBC, LDC).

2022

Entry into public R&D

Five months after founding we were awarded the integrated-rectifier receive pad project, then joined a mobile wired/wireless automatic charging project. We developed a high-voltage wireless charging system.

2023

Demonstration and component reliability

We began micro-EV wireless charging demonstration and production performance evaluation of resonant capacitors, and introduced power modules, a power-bank charger and a V2G bidirectional charger.

2024

First project as lead institution

We ran the performance evaluation of power-bank conversion components as lead institution, joined a wireless power transfer infrastructure programme for large facilities, and developed a micro-EV wireless charger and a bidirectional OBC.

2025

Transmitters and AI power

We started the fast transmitter project and the vehicle interface project for wireless receive modules, and widened into AI server power modules. We signed a technology cooperation agreement with the University of Auckland and supplied distributed fast chargers to a domestic charge point operator.

2026

Robot charging and grid connection

A public project for a shared wireless charging station for outdoor mobile robots and a commercial AMR wireless charging contract began in the same year. We started a project to commercialise a combined wired and wireless charging platform and are developing a grid-tied PCS.

CAPABILITY

Build it, test it, certify it

Power test facilities

We hold power conversion test equipment including bidirectional power supplies, and are adding equipment in step with the fast transmitter development.

Demonstration environments

We use the RAPA IoT technology support centre and the Kyungpook National University testbed as staged demonstration environments, and have carried work through vehicle modification, mounting and on-road operation.

Certification

EMC and EMF certification sit within our own scope of work. Ingress protection is designed to the required class, from outdoor robot use to vehicle mounting.

Standards

We design against SAE J2954, ISO 15118-20 and OCPP 2.0.1, and take part in international standardisation activity in wireless power transfer.

PARTNERS

Relationships built project by project

We have run public R&D projects as a joint research institution inside consortia led by large corporations, and at times as the lead institution ourselves.

Joint research

Six companies that have run public R&D projects with us — in power conversion, vehicle electronics, components, semiconductors and robotics

Universities and institutes

A national university industry-academic foundation, a radio-spectrum promotion agency, and an electronics technology research institute

Fundamental technology

We hold a technology cooperation agreement with an overseas inductive power transfer (IPT) research group and have carried out a technology trends study for them

Demand and verification

A domestic vehicle manufacturer participates as the demand company in verifying the performance of products under development, and a major domestic energy company provides a testbed as a joint research institution
